Giveaway: Children’s Book The Jellybeans and the Big Book Bonaza by Laura Numeroff

April 28, 2010

in Giveaways

Do your kids love the book If You Give A Mouse A Cookie? It is my 6 year olds favorite book. So when I was contacted about doing a giveaway for a new book by Laura Numeroff, the author of If You Give A Mouse A Cookie, I jumped on it. I have one copy of her new book called The Jellybeans and the Big Book Bonaza to giveaway.

Laura Numberoff has teamed up Sleepy’s and First Book, a non-profit organization working to provide new books to children in need, to promote family bedtime reading. Research shows that reading at least 20 minutes per night with your child can improve child literacy by 10 whole school days per year.

The Sleepy’s Bedtime Stories program is asking parents to make a non-monetary pledge to read to their children at bedtime. Each pledge will support Sleepy’s corporate contribution to First Book to provide new books to families in need and instill a love of reading for all children.

Go here to make you pledge and also enter for a chance to win lunch with Laura Numeroff in New York City.

Even if you don’t win the lunch with Laura, you can still see her live. Laura is touring Sleepy stores and will be reading two books from her collection including When Sheep Sleep and her newest book The Jellybeans and the Big Book Bonanza. She will also sign free copies of her new book for children attending the reading events to take home. Check here to see if Laure will be visiting a store by you.
