My Coupon "High" Trip to Old Navy – Saved 84%

The kids and I made a run to Old Navy today to take advantage of the additional 50% off clearance items.  I was able to make it into a Coupon “High” trip using a $10/$50 coupon from Barker’s Bones.  Just a hint on that game, if you get a coupon you’re not crazy about, don’t accept it and try again.

I spent $43.20, but I got $267 worth of clothes or in other words saved 84%  Here’s my haul:

Yes, once again it’s all kids clothes.  One of these times I should get something for myself, but here’s a breakdown of everything:

• 4 boys tank tops (2 large, 2 small)
• 4 Boys shorts (size 12 to 16)
• 1 Pair Boys Cargo Pants
• 2 Girls Swimsuits (These were a real deal at about $2 a piece)
• 1 Girls Blue Jeans
• 2 Pair Girls Khaki Shorts
• 2 Girls Tank Tops
• 2 Boys Polo Shirts

Yes, you are seeing double girls shirts and boys polo shirts.  That’s because I’m going to try to get a group photo of my kids, and I like to coordinate their outfits.  I think I may try taking the photo myself using some of the helpful hints I learned at the Savvy Blogging Summit Photography Session.  I’ll then send it into the Canvas People.  They are currently offering a $55 credit which gets a free 8×10 Canvas photo and you just pay shipping of about $10 to $14.  If I don’t end up with a decent picture, I’ll probably take them to Target where they are offering a Free 8×10 Photo or $7.99 for a whole package.  Either way, I’m pretty excited about finding them clothes for a picture at such a great price.
