My daughter recently had a birthday and received some birthday money. She decided what she wanted to do with her “cut” of the money (i.e. the money not put in the savings account) was to go to the store Justice. If you have a preteen daughter you know what a craze this is and how expensive it is. In fact, before this visit we had only ventured in the store once or twice to casually glance at the clearance rack only to realize it was too high priced.
But since this was her birthday money, we went to Justice. I did do one thing before we left and that was to Google “Justice Printable Coupons” I was thrilled to find a 40% off your entire Justice purchase coupon. This made me much more comfortable in letting her pick out whatever she wanted. Of course I directed her to the clearance section to make the most of her money and that’s where the scarves, purses, dress and tank top come from. But from the moment we walked in the door, she fell in love with the black and white shirt and pants, and since I had taken the minute to Google “Printable Coupons” she was able to get all of it.
Buying all this loot got her a $25 giftcard when you spend $50. Since she had a bit of money left over, I promised her we would go back to Justice when that sale started. I was such such a proud mama the day we decided to go because she asked me, “Mom, can you check and see if there is another coupon to save money?” Sure enough there was, but unfortunately at Justice you can’t use a coupon with the $25 off $50 gift cards. It was a bummer, but I was just so excited that she had asked!
The point of this story is before you make a trip to the mall – Google the name of the stores you plan on attending with the words “printable coupons” after it. While I try to post great retail printable coupons on The Coupon “High”, like the 30% Gap Give and Get printable that I used today on a trip to the mall. I don’t necessarily have the same needs or tastes as you, so I might miss a stores coupon that would be beneficial to you.
So as I mentioned above, I went to the mall today to take advantage of The Give and Get deal and to pick up a free pair of underwear from Victoria Secret that I had gotten a coupon in the mail for. I knew I would also check out some other stores while I was there so I Googled them. Here’s what I got:
- Children’s Place – 20% off your purchase - nothing was on sale, so I didn’t use it.
- Kirklands – 20% off one item - didn’t find what I was looking for so I didn’t use it.
- Payless Shoes – 15% off one item – Saved $1.05 on a $7 clearance pair of tennis shoes that I needed for my son.
Although, I didn’t use the Children’s Place or Kirklands it took me barely any time and only 2 pieces of paper to print them out and had there been a great sale or I found what I needed I would have been so glad I had them with me.

Retail coupons are the way to go! Sometimes the most expensive stores have great clearance and promotions. I love Gymboree. I normally wouldn't shop there and pay full retail price. But they offer the Gymbucks program (like the Justice rewards) and they have awesome clearance! Plus they have coupons. Gymboree clothes have high resale value too!
I always try to shop retail with a coupon! Great advice. You might also want to check out retail helper. They send me an email once a week or so with printable store coupons.
Glad it could help
Thank you for posting this! Just in time for back to school shopping! I'm going this weekend! Thanks again!!!
