Recently I received a Free Can of Coppertone’s New Wet ‘N Clear Kids SPF 45+ and another of SPF 30 so that I could review it for you and offer you a giveaway opportunity.
I finally got a chance to try it out this week when the weather warmed up and the rain went away and we could enjoy some time at the pool.
It’s pretty easy to put on any sunscreen before the kids get in the pool, but most waterproof sunscreen’s only last up to about 80 minutes and then you need to reapply. With most sunscreens that means having the kiddos totally dry off. It’s hard enough to get them out of the pool, much less dry off.
If you have ever tried spraying sunscreen on wet skin, it shows up all white (like the arm on the left) and runs right off and doesn’t work. That didn’t happen with the Coppertone New Wet “N Clear Kids product as you can see on the right arm. So you can enjoy a longer day at the pool without hassling too much to get additional sunscreen applied. Of course, you will still have to get the kids out of the pool.
I also really like the continuous spray applicator. To me it seemed that it sprayed so the the skin was getting an even coverage. It leaves a shiny sheen (not white) so you can see exactly where you have sprayed.
As far as it’s effectiveness, I applied the sunscreen to my 4 kids and not one had red skin after swimming, even my two fairer children.
That’s my experience with CoppertoneWet ‘ Clear Kids. Here are the claims from Coppertone:
- Sprays on Clear and won’t whiten Skin
- Visibly cuts through water to adhere to skin
- Helps keep adults and kids protected when moving in and out of water
- Pediatrician tested
- Photostable, broad spectrum UVA/UVB protection
- Water resistant (80 minutes)
If you want to give it a try, you can get a $1 Coppertone Printable HERE.
Plus, I’ve been provided the opportunity to give one lucky reader of The Coupon “High” the same gift I received – Two Cans of Wet ‘N Clear Kids Continuous Spray (SPF 45+ and SPF 30+)
